All NewCouple Tele-Classes are team taught by Seana McGee and Maurice
Taylor, co-authors of The New Couple. One hour in length, each class
starts with a short lecture, followed by an exercise and closing
with open class discussion. Student sharing is on a strictly voluntary
basis; we do not ask you to identify yourself other than your first
name and where you are calling from. This offers students far greater
anonymity than the traditional classroom setting.
Do I Need to Prepare for Class?
Just bring an open mind and open heart. And dont worry: There wont be any tests! All teaching is based on the information contained in The New Couple and the Ten New Laws of Love. And while we dont ask you to read The New Couple as a formal textbook, we do suggest you give it a skim. (The New Couple is available at bookstores everywhere and online). If you have a chance, also take the NewCouple Quiz for singles or couples (featured both at the beginning of the book and online). As you see below, each class corresponds to certain Laws of Love/Chapters, and though this advance reading is helpful, it is by no means mandatory.

Much like Tele-Classes (described above), Tele-Lessons are taught over the telephone and are based on the Ten New Laws of Love and the NewCouple model of relationship as presented in their book The New Couple. Unlike Tele-Classes, Tele-Lessons are private and individualized: Students can choose their own topics and times and a teleconferencing system is not necessary. Fees for Tele-Lessons are $100/hour for single people and $150/hour for couples.
